Born on February 29, 1996, in Rota, Spain, Nathan was the son of Sherrie Herendeen and Brian Sheppard. Growing up in a military family, he lived in various states before settling in Farmington, where he completed his high school education.

Nathan was a nature enthusiast who cherished the outdoors, spending much of his time hiking and appreciating the beauty of his surroundings. His keen eye for creativity extended beyond nature, as he also had a deep love for art in all its forms. In his free time, Nathan enjoyed playing video games, skating, and building intricate Lego structures with his friends.

Survived by Loving Family

Nathan is survived by his parents, Sherrie (Tracey) Herendeen and Brian (Kelly) Sheppard; his brother, Jordan Sheppard; his grandparents, Brenda Sheppard, Helen Reed, Susie Hase, and Pam and Bob Ackerman; and his nephew, Lucas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn Sheppard and Alfred Reed.

Celebration of Life and Memorial Contributions

A celebration of Nathan’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to 520 11th St S., Hudson, WI 54016, care of Nathan Sheppard, at the funeral home. These memorials will be used for future charitable donations in Nathan’s honor.

Nathan’s adventurous spirit, creativity, and kindness touched many lives, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.
