Fatal Crash: Marvin Branton, 66, Identified as Victim Killed in Cambria County Crash

A fatal accident in Cambria County has claimed the life of 66-year-old Marvin Branton of Lancaster County. According to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), the multi-vehicle collision occurred early Saturday morning, August 31, on Beaver Valley Road near the intersection of Hughstown Road.

PSP reports that Branton was driving his Mitsubishi Outlander when he attempted a left turn and crossed multiple lanes of traffic. His vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, and collided with the end of a culvert, ultimately continuing its path before coming to a stop.

Despite wearing his seatbelt, Branton sustained critical injuries from the crash. He was transported to UPMC Altoona, where he sadly passed away. The PSP has confirmed that the incident is under investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
