Mason Saenz has been identified as the motorcyclist thrown from his bike after the crash with Ennis Joslin Sunday night
A tragic accident occurred in Corpus Christi on Sunday night, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Mason Saenz. Saenz was involved in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Ennis Joslin Road around 10:06 p.m. in the 1500 block, which led to him being ejected from the motorcycle and ultimately succumbing to his injuries.
Reports indicate that Saenz lost control of his motorcycle while traveling northbound in the right lane on Ennis Joslin. A witness approaching from a private drive observed Saenz being thrown from the bike following the crash.
Despite wearing a helmet, Saenz was critically injured and transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Traffic investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) have determined that excessive speed was a significant factor in the severity of the crash.
